In 1928 Madoura, the workshop run by Suzanne Ramie and her husband Georges was established in Vallauris in the South of France. By the late 1940s Picasso was working in the studio alongside the Ramie’. Suzanne’s work is known for its sculptural elegance, she ranks among the most celebrated potters of her generation. This appears to be a unique piece.
